Renovation and restoration of the swimming pool/restaurant complex, with mobile cover; the buildings, dated 1939 and today bound, were in different conditions: of the one remained, at the time of the project, only the diving board, the second was and is still intact and functional.
The mobile cover (proposed for management needs) and the transparency of the back wall recover the relationship of the internal space with the park of the Exhibition, against which the trampoline continues to stand out.
The approval of the project, subsequently revoked, determined a transformation of the setting at the final project level: eliminated the cover on the pre-existing outdoor pool, was introduced adjacent to a new system pool / locker rooms / services, underground and communicating with the first, under a large lawn area with solarium functions.
Sun and natural ventilation chimneys illuminate the in-ground pool and access areas, characterized by glass-cement walls.
